33 Million Dollar Lessons I’ve Learned In My 33 Years Of Living!

33Million

In honor of my 33rd birthday(October 16th, 2017), something inside of me pulled me to create an article where I reveal 33 Million Dollar Lessons I’ve Learned In My 33 Years Of Living!

This article consists of lessons that I’ve invested hundreds of thousands of dollars, countless hours and sometimes excruciating pain to learn. Also as a result, these lessons have also resulted in millions of dollars in revenue created and a life that most people only dream of.

It is my hope that you don’t take these lessons for granted and you begin to apply the ones that are relevant to your life and share with others so together we can impact millions of lives across the globe!

WARNING: Some of these lessons may seem like “common sense” or some you may feel the urge to say “I know that or I’ve heard that already” but when those emotions or thoughts surface, I challenge you to combat them with, “How often am I applying that to my life!”

Let’s dive in shall we?

33 Million Dollar Lessons I’ve Learned In My
33 Years Of Living!

Million Dollar Lesson #1: Life is not about what you get, life is about what you give.

Most people say things like, “It’s better to give than receive!” I won’t go that far, because I don’t think that either is better. I believe that everything is circulatory, so whatever you put put is bound to come back (good or bad).

It’s kinda like a farmer planting a seed. The farmer has to plant a seed to create a harvest, right?

Million Dollar Lesson #2: The secret to making more money is increasing your confidence and increasing your value -The amount of money you make will directly be tied to the amount of value you provide to the market.

What skill have you mastered or are in the process of mastering?

If you don’t have one, it’s a good chance that you’r nowhere near where you want to b financially.

Most entrepreneurs like to consider themselves “jacks of all trades” and from my experience, jacks of all trades don’t get paid much! When I hear someone say thy are a “jack of all trades” it reminds me of Hustle Man from on of my all time favorite shows, Martin…

Million Dollar Lesson #3: You get better at doing a thing, by DOING THE THING!

Think about it for a second…

If you wanted to learn how to swim, can you learn by reading a book or going to a conference on how to swim?

NOPE! You gotta get in the pool!

Million Dollar Lesson #4: The secret to success in business is working harder on yourself than you do on your business

I learned this a few years ago, from the late great, Jim Rohn…

Million Dollar Lesson #5: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

That’s the first line of one of my favorite quotes/poems. I read it just about everyday and have even had my kids memorize it. Here’s the whole thing…

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Million Dollar Lesson #6: Accomplishing your goals will take at least 2x the effort you think it will take but the pay off will be at least 10x what you think it will be.

Need I say more?

Nothing ever happens as fast or exactly how we want them to happen, so buckle up for the ride. 🙂

Million Dollar Lesson #7: Speed of implementation, uncertainty, time.

Those three words simply mean, if you have a desire to become extremely wealthy, you have to be someone that learns something new, and implements it fast.

You have to be willing to go without being total certain of what happens next at all times.

And you have to be willing to stay the course until!

Most people aren’t willing to do any of those.

Million Dollar Lesson #8: Knowledge is NOT Power.

If knowledge was power, everyone would be wealthy! Why?

Because you can go to Google and YouTube and learn how to do ANYTHING! Knowledge is ONLY potential power!

Million Dollar Lesson #9: Success is deliberate.

The system is simply consistently following a few daily disciplines on a daily basis! This daily disciplines are called “Habits” and depending on your goal, will determine the habits you will follow.

Two books I recommend on this topic are “The Slight Edge” by Jeff Olson and “Th Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy.

Million Dollar Lesson #10: Everything in life happens perfectly

Life happens for you, not against you. Everything always works out in your favor. Allow yourself to believe that and watch what happens!

Million Dollar Lesson #11: You have to be obsessed with your goals

As Dr. Eric Thomas puts it, “You have to want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe!” Have you ever saw the Guru Story video by Dr. Eric Thomas. If not, that video will drive the point of this lesson home. Here it is…

[video_player type=”embed” style=”1″ dimensions=”560×315″ width=”560″ height=”315″ align=”center” margin_top=”0″ margin_bottom=”20″ ipad_color=”black”]PGNlbnRlcj48aWZyYW1lIHdpZHRoPSI1NjAiIGhlaWdodD0iMzE1IiBzcmM9Imh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LnlvdXR1YmUuY29tL2VtYmVkL2xzU0Mydng3ekZRP3JlbD0wJmFtcDtzaG93aW5mbz0wIiBmcmFtZWJvcmRlcj0iMCIgYWxsb3dmdWxsc2NyZWVuPSIiPjwvaWZyYW1lPjwvY2VudGVyPg==[/video_player]

Million Dollar Lesson #12: Having a WHY isn’t big enough. You gotta have VISION!

When you have a BIG goal you’re working towards, it’s going to seem like all hell is breaking lose to keep you from making it a reality! This is why you have to be able to see it in advance!

Million Dollar Lesson #13: Grind without Reward Equals Burnout

As you move toward your goals, you have to install some kind of reward system into your business and life. For me, this is things like quarterly trips with my family.

Million Dollar Lesson #14: Patience Is Profitable

Read lesson #6 again! 🙂

Million Dollar Lesson #15: Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.

This is the single best definition of success that I’ve heard.

Get crystal clear on your vision and every step you take toward that, you’re a success!

The destination isn’t what you think it is, so you have to enjoy the process, because the person you’re becoming on the journey is where the pay off is.

Million Dollar Lesson #16: It does NOT take money to make money!

It takes the courage to implement what you already know and use that to solve a problem for other people.

Million Dollar Lesson #17: Profits are better than wages

Big shout out to Jim Rohn for this one.

Million Dollar Lesson #18: Work harder on yourself than you do on your job or business.

There’s two types of work you have to do…

#1. The work you do in and on your business!

#2. The work you do on yourself (this work is going to provide the greatest ROI)

Million Dollar Lesson #19: Relationships are more valuable than money.

PERIOD!

Million Dollar Lesson #20: Fear is NOT real

It’s mad up in our minds like Santa Claus!

Million Dollar Lesson #21: Your brain is designed to keep you comfortable

That’s why it makes up fear!

Million Dollar Lesson #22: To multiply you have to simplify

Your brain will also make things more complicated in order to keep you from taking action, because not taking action is comfortable until things get uncomfortable (if you know what I mean)!

Million Dollar Lesson #23: Opportunity is one of the Silent Killers of Success

Stay focused and make it a habit of saying no to things that will take you off track of the thing you’re currently focused on.

Million Dollar Lesson #24: The only limitations we have are those we set up in our own mind.

That’s all I have to say about that (in my Forrest Gump voice)

Million Dollar Lesson #25: The 10 Page Per Day Method

“If you read only one book per month, that will put you into the top 1% of income earners in our society. But if you read one book per week, 50 books per year, that will make you one of the best educated, smartest, most capable and highest paid people in your field. Regular reading will transform your life completely.”

Million Dollar Lesson #26: There’s more money in what you know that what you do

You have knowledge right now that you think is nothing because it’s simple to you, but there are people who will pay you for it, because it’s the answer to their problem.

Million Dollar Lesson #27: We become what we think about.

Check out “The Strangest Secret” by Earl Nightingale to go deeper into this. Better yet, I’ll drop the audio below for you.

Million Dollar Lesson #28: The average ROI for companies investing in coaching is 700% the initial investment.

Here’s a little proof…

Million Dollar Lesson #30: If you’re not willing to look within, you have to be willing to go without.

Your problem isn’t your problem, you are your problem so your own personal growth and self development is always the answer.

Million Dollar Lesson #31: Achievement without fulfillment is the ultimate failure!

This is why you see so many extremely successful people commit suicide.

While there can other things they’re dealing with, it’s important to focus on what fulfills you in life that’s bigger than money or material things. #13 helps me with this.

Million Dollar Lesson #32: The Frustration Quotient

The higher levels of frustration you’re able to deal with, will determine the level of success you will achieve.

Million Dollar Lesson #33: There’s more than enough for everyone to have more than enough and there still be more than enough to go around.

Knowing this shatters any beliefs of lack or a poverty mindset so you can tap into all the abundance that surrounds you.
