Want to attract a flood of leads into your world and business?
If so, one of the most important things you’ll need to do is create the right lead magnet to attract them, and here imma show you how.
In case you don’t know exactly what a “lead magnet” is, you’ve sure been attracted by one — for example, that’s how you ended up in this group 🙂
So, here’s how to design one that attracts your best leads and clients. I call it the “What, Why, How, What’s next?” formula.
➊ What.
Deciding what to promote as your lead magnet is THE most important step in the whole process.
If you know your market, you’d create an eBook, some templates, a short training, a 5-day challenge, or anything that either:
— Solves a present pain, or
— Accelerates their transformation, or
— Creates demand for your next thing.
If you’re not sure on the ‘what’… ask them! Or try a few different things to see what hits.
If you do… let’s say real estate coaching? Try contract templates, local buyers guide, training on how to get started with $0 down, and gauge your audience reaction.
The one that attracts the most people, and the best people is your winning lead magnet. Makes sense?
➋ Why.
This is where you share a little bit of your backstory. Solving the “what” is your passion because of [your particular “hero’s journey”] right?
For example, I do what I do because I want to create massive economic empowerment for our people. I want our younger generation to get into entrepreneurship and not the streets like I did.
So what’s your why? Let people into your worldview, philosophy, and values.
This helps people connect with you on a deeper level, which is super important because, if people find two vendors that are exactly the same…
… Your personality might tilt the scale in your favor, and people will simply go with you because they LIKE you better.
➌ How.
This is where you actually help them. Give them the thing you promised, make it useful, because guess what?
The best way for people to know you can help them… is to actually help them!
➍ What’s next?
Invite them to get better results, faster, more easily, with less risk and all of that by working with you.
This whole blog was kind of meta as I shared with you the “what, why, and how” on lead magnets… but actually DOING it:)
What’s next?
Once you design a good lead magnet, you’ll need to plug it into a funnel to capture leads, run ads for it, close high-ticket sales, and have the right mindset to do it all.
